🌍 North America Final Review, Leg 1 → Leg 2
Before BTS returned to North America for Leg 2, another journey had already laid the foundation — from Tampa to Las Vegas, where ARIRANG first found its rhythm across the continent.

North America Final Review, Leg 2 — Many Cities. One Journey.

Seven stops. Sixteen nights. Two countries.

East Rutherford.
Foxborough.
Baltimore.
Arlington.
Toronto.
Chicago.
Los Angeles.

On paper, they are simply seven destinations on a tour schedule.
But look at them again after the final lights went down at SoFi Stadium, and something changes.

They become a road.

From August 1 to September 6, BTS crossed North America for the second time on the ARIRANG World Tour, moving from the New York metropolitan area through New England, the Mid-Atlantic, Texas, Canada, the Midwest and finally California. The official schedule comprised 16 concerts across seven stops.

Leg 1 had established the rhythm.
Leg 2 had a different job.

It had to show how far that rhythm could travel.

And by the time BTS reached Los Angeles, the answer was written across an entire continent.

East Rutherford — The Journey Begins Again

August 1, 2026.
MetLife Stadium.
BTS were back in North America.

But this did not feel like returning to the beginning.

The ARIRANG World Tour that arrived in East Rutherford was different from the one that had entered Tampa months earlier.

It had already traveled through North America once.
It had crossed the Atlantic.
It had stood inside European stadiums.

Now it returned carrying all of those experiences with it.

Two nights at MetLife Stadium on August 1 and 2 opened Leg 2.
And immediately, the geography told us something.

This was the New York metropolitan area — one of the world's great crossroads of people, languages and cultures.

ARIRANG had returned not as an experiment, but as a tour with an identity.

The question was no longer whether it could travel.
The question was what each new city would add.

Foxborough — From Metropolis to New England

Only a few days later, the journey reached Foxborough.
Gillette Stadium hosted BTS on August 5 and 6.

From the enormous cultural gravity of metropolitan New York, the route had moved into New England.

Different place.
Different audience.
Same journey.

That contrast is important.

The strength of Leg 2 was not that every stadium became identical under purple lights.
It was precisely the opposite.

Each destination retained its own geography and personality while becoming part of something shared.

East Rutherford had reopened the road.
Foxborough showed that the road was already moving quickly.

And then the tour turned south.

Baltimore — When the Journey Met Uncertainty

Baltimore reminded us that a world tour is never entirely controlled by the stage.

BTS were scheduled for two nights at M&T Bank Stadium on August 10 and 11.

But the Baltimore chapter also carried the uncertainty of severe weather around the performances — the kind of moment when attention shifts from anticipation toward safety, waiting and whether the show can continue as planned.

That matters in retrospect.
A tour is easy to remember as a collection of perfect photographs.

Reality is messier.
Weather changes.
Plans change.

Thousands of people wait.
And sometimes the memory becomes stronger precisely because the night did not unfold effortlessly.

Baltimore gave Leg 2 something the previous cities could not:
resilience.

The journey continued.

Arlington — The Map Opened Wide Again

Next came Texas.
BTS performed at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on August 15 and 16.

By now, look at the route.

New Jersey.
Massachusetts.
Maryland.
Texas.

This was no small regional run.

Leg 2 was stretching across the physical scale of the United States.
And that scale changed the meaning of the tour.

Every flight westward made the distance from the opening night larger.
Every new stadium added another local audience to the same global fandom.

The ARIRANG journey was no longer simply moving.
It was accumulating.

Cities.
Memories.
Voices.
Stories.

And then, for the first time in Leg 2, it crossed an international border.

Toronto — One Journey, Another Country

August 22 and 23 brought BTS to Rogers Stadium in Toronto.
Canada changed the map, but it did not interrupt the story.

That distinction is central to understanding the ARIRANG World Tour.

Political borders divide countries.
Music does not experience those borders in quite the same way.

For ARMY arriving in Toronto, this was not a separate Canadian story detached from everything that had happened in the United States.

It was the next chapter.

The same songs.
The same seven artists.
The same ARIRANG identity.

A different city answering it in its own voice.

Mid Insight — A Tour Becomes Bigger Than Its Route

By Toronto, Leg 2 had revealed something important.

A tour map shows where artists go.
It does not show what connects those places.

That connection exists somewhere else — in people who travel between cities, in fans following performances from thousands of kilometers away, and in memories that begin to overlap.

East Rutherford was not erased when BTS reached Foxborough.
Foxborough did not disappear in Baltimore.

Baltimore traveled to Arlington.
Arlington traveled to Toronto.

Every city carried the cities before it.

That is when a sequence of concerts becomes a journey.

Chicago — The Last Stop Before the Finale

From Toronto, BTS returned to the United States.

Soldier Field welcomed the tour on August 27 and 28.
Chicago occupied a special position on the map.

It was not the finale.
But it was the last city before the finale.

By then, the destination waiting at the end of the road was impossible to ignore.

Los Angeles.
SoFi Stadium.
Four nights.

Chicago therefore became a threshold.
The tour was still moving, but the second North American journey was beginning to feel finite.

There were no longer seven destinations ahead.
There was one.

The road turned west one final time.

Los Angeles — When the Journey Became a Record

September 1.
September 2.
September 5.
September 6.

Four nights at SoFi Stadium brought Leg 2 — and the entire North American chapter of the 2026 ARIRANG World Tour — to its conclusion.

Approximately 282,000 people attended those four concerts.

And when the new shows were added to BTS's four Permission to Dance On Stage — LA concerts in 2021, BTS reached eight performances and approximately 496,000 cumulative attendees at SoFi Stadium, setting venue records for a group in performances and cumulative attendance.

But we told that story in the Los Angeles Final Review.
Here, LA means something different.

It is not the story.
It is the destination.

Because SoFi only becomes the ending of Leg 2 when we remember everything that came before it.

East Rutherford.
Foxborough.
Baltimore.
Arlington.
Toronto.
Chicago.

Six stops had already carried the journey across thousands of kilometers before the first Los Angeles concert even began.

That is why the numbers at SoFi feel larger when viewed from here.

They were not four isolated record-setting nights.
They were the final four nights of a road that had crossed a continent.

Seven Stops Became One Story

Now step away from the individual stadiums.

What remains?

East Rutherford gave the journey its second beginning.
Foxborough gave it momentum.
Baltimore tested its resilience.
Arlington revealed its scale.
Toronto carried it across another border.
Chicago brought it to the threshold.
Los Angeles gave it an ending worthy of the road that came before.

Seven stops. Sixteen nights. Two countries.

But that still does not tell the whole story.
Because Leg 2 was never really about seven separate places.

It was about connection.

A stadium in New Jersey connected to one in Massachusetts.
Massachusetts connected to Maryland.

Maryland to Texas.
Texas to Ontario.

Ontario to Illinois.
Illinois to California.

The distances were enormous.
The story remained continuous.

Many cities. One journey.

31 Sold-Out Nights — The View From the End

And now, standing at the end of Leg 2, we can finally pull the camera back one more time.

Leg 1 and Leg 2 together formed BTS's complete North American ARIRANG journey.

According to BigHit Music, the North American run comprised 31 sold-out concerts across 12 locations and drew approximately 1.92 million concertgoers.

That number is enormous.
But its meaning becomes clearer when we remember how it was built.

It began with one stadium.
Then another.

One city.
Then another.

One border crossed.
Then another.

Until the statistics stopped describing a tour schedule and started describing a cultural footprint.

1.92 million people did not gather in one place.

They gathered across North America.
That is the achievement hidden inside the number.

Author’s Insight — The Distance Between Two Nights

There is a temptation at the end of a world tour leg to remember only the finale.

The biggest crowd.
The final goodbye.
The record.

Los Angeles certainly gave us all three.
But a journey cannot be understood only by looking at where it ended.

Go back to August 1.

BTS stood at MetLife Stadium with sixteen North American performances still ahead.
Los Angeles was more than a month away.

Between those two points were Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto and Chicago.
There were highways and airports.

Different climates.
Different accents.
Different stadiums.
Different nights.

And yet something passed through all of them unchanged.

Seven people kept walking onto the stage.
ARMY kept answering.
And a Korean word — ARIRANG — remained above the entire journey.

Perhaps that is what Leg 2 ultimately gave us.
Not proof that BTS could fill another stadium.

We already knew that.
It showed how a shared story can survive distance.

By September 6, East Rutherford felt far away.

But it had not disappeared.
Neither had Foxborough.
Neither had Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto or Chicago.

They were all there, in a sense, when the final lights went down at SoFi Stadium.
Because every journey carries its previous stops into its destination.

Leg 1 found the rhythm.

Leg 2 carried it across the continent.

Seven stops became sixteen nights.
Sixteen nights became thousands of memories.
And those memories became something no map can fully show.

Many Cities.
One Journey.

North America is complete.
But ARIRANG is not.
